Job Title: Senior Nurse Practitioner - Dermatology

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Nurse Practitioner to join our Dermatology team in Cumbria and Lancashire.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will work under indirect supervision of the clinical team and undertake tasks and duties delegated by the clinical team or a suitably qualified regulated professional.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the clinical team in the service and delivery of the dermatology service to the local population.
  • Working collaboratively with the clinical team to meet the needs of patients, following policy and procedures.
  • Providing supervision to more junior staff.
  • Alerting other team members to issues of quality and risk in the care of patients.
  • Practicing in accordance with agreed standards of care.
  • Knowing how clinical governance affects the PN role and bringing to the attention of more senior staff any specific risk situation.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Current NMC Registration.
  • Evidence of Post-Registration training.
