Job Summary:

Barker Munro Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Handler to join their team in Kent. As a key member of the SME commercial team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients and insurers, handling day-to-day enquiries, and supporting the Account Executives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, responding to their queries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with insurers, clients, and colleagues to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Assist with claims handling and support the Account Executives in their daily tasks.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that clients receive a superior service experience.
  • Work closely with the team to achieve business objectives and contribute to the growth and development of the company.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in broking or underwriting, with a strong understanding of insurance products and services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve complex issues.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Desire to learn and develop new skills, with a willingness to attain industry-recognized certifications such as the Cert CII.
