Job Summary

The Marriott International is seeking a highly skilled Night Manager to join the Front Desk team at the Portsmouth Marriott Hotel. As a Night Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during the night shift, managing and supervising Night Hosts, and maintaining high standards of guest service and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Hotel Operations: Ensure the efficient running of the hotel during the night shift, managing and supervising Night Hosts, including contractors, to adhere to company standards in relation to quality guest service and profitability.
  2. Team Management: Ensure that all Night Hosts meet company image standards at all times and are aware of the contents of the Host Handbook.
  3. Communication: Establish effective communication within the Night team and with all other departments in the hotel.
  4. Meetings: Hold Night team meetings on a monthly basis to discuss progress, address concerns, and set goals.
Requirements
  1. Communication Skills: Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with guests, colleagues, and management.
  2. English Language: Have an excellent level of spoken and written English to communicate with guests and colleagues.
  3. Flexibility: Be flexible and willing to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays as required.
  4. Teamwork: Demonstrate a strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration to achieve hotel goals and objectives.
