Specialist SEN Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking an experienced and qualified SEN teaching assistant to join our team at a mainstream primary school in the heart of Fulham, London.

The successful candidate will have PECs/Makaton/Team Teach training and experience, and will be able to support children with a variety of needs across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.

As a member of our team, you will work closely with the SENCO, other LSAs, and outside agencies/therapists to provide high-quality support to our students.

This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4pm, term time only.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children with a variety of special educational needs across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
  • Work closely with the SENCO, other LSAs, and outside agencies/therapists to provide high-quality support
  • Assist with lesson planning and delivery to meet the needs of students with SEN
  • Provide individualized support to students with SEN, including PECs/Makaton/Team Teach

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with special educational needs
  • PECs/Makaton/Team Teach training and experience
  • Ability to work closely with the SENCO, other LSAs, and outside agencies/therapists
  • Passion for supporting children with special educational needs
