Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at SUEZ. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing planned and reactive maintenance for all areas of plant, ensuring that plant installations and modifications meet the latest standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide planned and reactive maintenance for all areas of plant, including equipment such as conveyors, motors, and gearboxes.
- Ensure that plant installations and modifications meet the latest standards and regulatory requirements.
- Support colleagues across different functions and provide guidance and supervision to junior staff and contractors.
Requirements
- A predominantly Mechanical background with basic Electrical knowledge, ideally with an Engineering Apprenticeship (or equivalent experience).
- Experience working in a Maintenance Engineer/Technician role in manufacturing/production engineering environments, with hands-on knowledge of equipment including conveyors, motors, gearboxes, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Basic electrical fault-finding experience is highly beneficial.
- Ideal qualifications include City & Guilds/NVQ level 3.
- IOSH certification is highly desirable but not essential.
