Electrical Engineer Role

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading electrical tasks and providing support for mechanical issues where required. Your expertise will ensure that all plant machinery meets regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take lead on all electrical tasks and offer support for mechanical issues where required
  • Ensure all plant machinery meets regulatory requirements
  • Perform reactive breakdown resolution, including mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical maintenance
  • Carry out planned maintenance to follow schedule for conveyors, ECS', Balers, compactors, shredders, lighting, general electrical systems, and more
  • Travel to other sites in the area when operational requirements demand, including installation works
Requirements:
  • NVQ level 3 in electrical engineering or equivalent
  • Previous experience with electrical and mechanical maintenance for industrial machinery, including conveyors, motors, VSD/VFD, Estop circuits, domestic installations, etc.
