Senior Java Developer for Low Latency Trading Solutions

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer with a strong foundation in low latency programming to develop high-performance solutions for e-trading within Front Office/Capital Markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement high-performance Java applications for e-trading, leveraging expertise in low latency programming.
- Collaborate with the team to develop and maintain a deep understanding of at least one key asset class in Capital Markets, such as Rates, Credit, FX, Equities.
- Conduct JVM tuning and Garbage Collector tuning to optimize system performance and ensure efficient execution of trading applications.
- Provide hands-on involvement in discussing and implementing low-level details, encompassing both code and OS aspects, to enhance system architecture and functionality.
- Leverage knowledge of frameworks such as LMAX Disruptor, Aeron, Coral Sequencer, Gemfire, and Gridgrain/Ignite to optimize system performance and scalability.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Java development with a focus on low latency programming.
- Proven track record of working in e-trading environments within Front Office/Capital Markets.
- Proficiency in JVM tuning and Garbage Collector tuning techniques.
- Ability to articulate and discuss technical intricacies at a granular level.
- Familiarity with one or more of the following frameworks: LMAX Disruptor, Aeron, Coral Sequencer, Gemfire, Gridgrain/Ignite.
