Podcast Producer

Amazon Digital Germany GmbH is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Producer to join our team. As a key member of our podcast production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production processes for our original productions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement production calendars and schedules to ensure timely delivery of high-quality content.
- Manage budgets and deliverable schedules for multiple podcast productions.
- Coordinate logistics with internal staff and external production companies to ensure seamless production processes.
- Act as the primary point of contact between our DE Podcast Content team and other Wondery departments.
- Provide support and guidance to producers with remote and studio recordings.
- Review and provide feedback on scripts and sound design for new and ongoing shows as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in overseeing creative aspects of development, production, and post-production.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to pivot and creatively problem-solve.
- A systematic approach to projects with a bias for action.
- Strong leadership and diplomatic communication skills.
- Deep knowledge of the podcast industry.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience as a producer, production manager, or line producer.
- Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and cost reporting.
- Fluent in German and English (C1+ level).
