Job Overview

Investigo Change Solutions is seeking an Interim Financial Analyst to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial data while supporting various financial initiatives.

Role Objectives

The successful candidate will be accountable for the comprehensive collection, assessment, monitoring, and reporting of financial data. This includes collaborating with senior management to distill complex data into clear, actionable insights tailored for diverse audiences. Additionally, the role will involve providing critical support for financial proposals.

Key responsibilities include assisting in the formulation of the annual budget, a five-year financial strategy, monthly financial reports, and quarterly forecasts.

This position works closely with Finance Business Partners, who provide essential day-to-day assistance to budget managers and are involved in the preparation of monthly financial reports and quarterly projections.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely completion of financial reports, including Monthly Financial Statements, Quarterly Projections, Annual Budgets, and a five-year financial strategy. This involves detailed and summary analyses presented in numerical, graphical, and written formats, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
  • Develop a cost analysis model to facilitate the creation of annual budgets for Core Output reporting.
  • Offer business partnering support to craft financial business cases as necessary.
  • Assist the Finance Controller in preparing or reviewing account reconciliations.
  • Must be a fully qualified accountant (ACCA or CIMA) with substantial post-qualification experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in a Management Accounting or Business Partnering capacity, encompassing budget preparation, long-term financial planning, and supporting the development of business cases for new initiatives.
