About the Role: Rikama Education is collaborating with a prominent primary institution seeking a dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Support Assistant.
Position Overview: This is a full-time role within the school's Specialist Resource Provision (SRP), aimed at providing essential support to students with special educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and small group assistance to students with SEN across Key Stages 1 and 2.
- Effectively manage challenging behaviors in a constructive manner.
- Adhere to and implement the Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for each pupil.
Qualifications: Candidates should possess prior experience working with children with additional needs, whether in an educational environment or a similar context.
Requirements:
- A current DBS registered with the update service or a willingness to obtain a new one.
