Compensation:
£60,000 - £70,000 based on experience, along with a Christmas Bonus, Private Healthcare, Pension options, Company events, Mobile Phone and Laptop, and 32 days of annual leave including Bank Holidays.
Located in East London, David Leslie Ltd is a well-established and highly regarded Electrical and Security contractor.
Our clientele includes prestigious organizations such as a premier league football club and various government entities, encompassing educational institutions like Universities, Schools, NHS Hospitals, critical research facilities, and local authorities throughout London.
We also engage with a diverse array of commercial and private enterprises, currently managing ongoing contracts for both Electrical and Security services.
In light of our rapid expansion, we are seeking a new addition to our estimating team to assist in supporting our existing client base and to further our growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Electrical Cost Analyst:
- Preparing tenders for electrical projects valued between £20,000 and £1,000,000
- Spearheading the adoption of our new estimating software
- Engaging in term contracts, fully specified projects, and design & build initiatives
- Comprehending project and estimating terms and conditions
- Conducting take-offs from drawings and interpreting specifications to meet project requirements
- Collaborating with suppliers and subcontractors for quotations, ensuring compliance with project specifications
- Facilitating handover to the operations/project team as necessary
- Contributing to the achievement of the company’s long-term commercial objectives as we expand
Desirable Experience, Qualifications, and Skills:
- At least 5 years of experience in Electrical Estimating
- Proven track record in tendering electrical projects within the £20,000 - £1,000,000 range
- Proficient in the use of estimation software
- Possession of Electrical City & Guilds / NVQ
- HNC qualification in electrical engineering is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong understanding of Construction Design Management (CDM)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Familiarity with the CCTV and Security industry is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
