As a highly experienced Independent Safety Auditor, you will play a crucial role in supporting the MOD in ensuring safety engineering activities comply with regulations, are implemented to plan, and are fit for purpose. You will join a specialist and growing team working for Defence clients across the air domain, including fixed wing, rotary, and autonomous systems.

This is an exciting opportunity to help develop and shape RINA's ISA capability, providing the Defence sector with world-class safety advisory services. You will be responsible for leading a variety of ISA engagements, ensuring requirements are delivered on time, to budget, and to the required quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead ISA engagements to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards;
  • Manage projects, either individually or as part of a small team, to deliver high-quality results;
  • Support with bids, proposals, analysis, and report writing to promote RINA's Safety capability;
  • Promote RINA's Safety expertise to customers through face-to-face liaison, relationship building, and presentations;
  • Assist the Safety management team in augmenting safety capability to meet new and emerging market demands.

Requirements:

  • Highly experienced Independent Safety Auditor with a strong track record of delivering high-quality results;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work arrangements;
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and industry standards, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical context.
