Job Title: Children's Safeguarding Specialist Nurse/Lead Trainer

East and North Herts NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Children's Safeguarding Specialist Nurse/Lead Trainer to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate individual to lead our safeguarding children team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in children's safeguarding and be able to provide expert guidance and support to our staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of safeguarding children policies and procedures
  • Provide training and education to staff on safeguarding children best practices
  • Conduct risk assessments and investigations into safeguarding concerns
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure a comprehensive approach to safeguarding children
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in children's safeguarding
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other teams
  • Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills
