Job Title: Domestic Support Worker

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Domestic Support Worker to join our team at Unique Training Solutions. As a Domestic Support Worker, you will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene within our residential care establishment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake housekeeping and laundry management duties to ensure a good quality stay for our customers.
  • Contribute to the personal needs of our customers and ensure they enjoy a good quality of life by providing a friendly, caring, and clean environment.
  • Ensure a good standard of cleanliness and hygiene within the workplace, maintaining a safe environment and robust infection control.
  • Remove hazards to ensure the safety, health, and well-being of others using the premises.
  • Provide and maintain an agreed high standard of housekeeping within all areas of the establishment.
  • Undertake laundry duties, including sorting, logging in and out, and putting away of all laundered items as required.
  • Liaise with relatives and staff of other agencies in a professional and courteous manner, respecting confidential information in line with our policies.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working in social care.
  • Ability to attend training and development activities as identified as relevant to your role, including mandatory training and refreshers.
