We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Trainee Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our Endoscopy Team at the Transformation Unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our endoscopy services.
Key Responsibilities:- Work autonomously to perform diagnostic and therapeutic upper and lower procedures, including TNE and Capsule Endoscopy.
- Deliver practitioner-led clinics and provide high standards of patient care.
- Participate in the delivery of formal JAG courses and contribute to the maintenance of JAG accreditation.
- Work closely with the consultant and nursing teams to achieve national targets and ensure high-quality patient care.
- RGN qualification.
- JAG Accredited Upper and Lower GI Endoscopist.
- Non-Medical Prescribing qualification.
- Extensive experience and advanced knowledge within Gastroenterology/Endoscopy.
- Experience in teaching and training of staff.
- Involvement in nursing audit and research.
- Ability to work and communicate effectively within a multi-disciplinary team setting.
- Evidence of excellent patient documentation and record keeping skills.
- Evidence of advanced communication skills including verbal, non-verbal and written.
- Evidence of good IT skills including NHS systems/JETS/NED and endoscopy reporting system.
