TEKEVER is a pioneering company in unmanned technology, revolutionising the defence industry with cutting-edge advancements and unparalleled innovation. As the Head of Business Development, you will play a critical role in driving our growth strategy and shaping the future of defence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy for the defence market, prioritising resources and markets for ambitious growth targets.
  • Lead and grow a high-performing Business Development team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with senior customer and industry stakeholders to identify and leverage market opportunities.
  • Support the Tekever Capabilities Team in shaping and supporting customer requirements with innovative market solutions.
  • Act as the centre of excellence for defence market knowledge within Tekever, identifying market trends, gaps, and opportunities.
  • Lead on customer briefings, bid and tender submissions, and contract negotiations for the defence market.
Requirements:
  • Post-graduate education in a relevant field.
  • At least 10 years' experience working in defence in either government or industry with a record of exceptional performance.
  • Proven leadership experience of a cross-functional team including technical staff.
  • Proven experience of driving new and novel approaches to problem-solving in a defence context.
  • Experience in the technical and operational challenges of developing and delivering complex technologies for defence.
  • Knowledge of the defence procurement cycle.
  • Extensive defence market knowledge with a preference towards UAS, autonomy, or AI.
