Job Summary

Acorn by Synergie is seeking a highly skilled Process Safety Engineer to join our team in a permanent opportunity. Our client, a leading Nickel refinery, is looking for an expert to support production and processing improvement through risk identification and management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support production and processing improvement through risk identification and management
  • Identify problems, issues, and concerns to eliminate risks through inspection of facilities, engineering review of machinery and processes
  • Facilitate PHA processes such as HAZOP, BOW-TIE, HAZ-ID, LOPA
  • Ensure safety regulation compliance
  • Collaborate with the Engineering Manager to drive process safety initiatives

Requirements

  • Experience in Process Safety at COMAH Sites (Upper Tier)
  • Facilitation of PHA processes such as HAZOP, BOW-TIE, HAZ-ID, LOPA
  • Detail-focused with ability to understand complex process plants
  • Knowledge and experience in Functional Safety and DSEAR
  • IT literate with working knowledge of Microsoft applications
