About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and methodical Warehouse Operative to join our client's team in Abingdon, Oxfordshire.

The successful candidate will be responsible for general daily picking and packing, taking stock from automated picking machines and pallet racking, and carrying out other warehouse duties such as stock taking, booking in/goods inward, pallet logging, machine/racking replenishment, cardboard shredding, and box making.

Accuracy and the ability to correctly follow procedures and instructions are critical in this role to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have a professional attitude, be comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting, and have a high level of housekeeping throughout warehouse areas.

Responsibilities
  • General daily picking and packing
  • Stock taking and booking in/goods inward
  • Pallet logging and machine/racking replenishment
  • Cardboard shredding and box making
  • Liaising with the Warehouse and regarding customer orders
