We are seeking a highly organized and administrative skilled individual to join our team as a Part Time Nursing Administrator. As a key member of the Nursing Department, you will play a vital role in supporting the team in maintaining a high standard of day-to-day operational service delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Operate a system to provide information about staff availability for both employed staff and bank staff, ensuring all contact details are up to date.
- Establish and maintain a database for staff off duties.
- Circulate off duty information to Senior Nurse on call and Ward Managers prior to the weekend.
- Monitor and manage agency usage, including booking, checking, and authorizing invoices and timesheets.
- Provide administration cover for the administration department as needed.
- Minimum of 4 GCSEs (including English and Mathematics) or equivalent.
- Administration experience.
- Computer literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to plan and prioritize workload.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Professional telephone manner.
- Efficient organizational skills.
- Knowledge of healthcare business operations.
- Understanding of Data Protection Act.
