We are seeking a dedicated Grounds and Hot Tub Maintenance Assistant to become a vital part of our team at Darwin Escapes. This role offers an hourly wage of £11.44.

This is a full-time and permanent position, requiring 40 hours of work spread across 5 variable days, including on-call duties as part of a rota, weekends, and bank holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will:

  • Support the maintenance team in ensuring the upkeep of facilities and guest accommodations.
  • Address maintenance requests from guests on-site.
  • Assist with renovation projects and participate in scheduled maintenance tasks.
  • Complete necessary documentation following repairs and maintenance activities.
  • Help clean and maintain hot tubs during changeover days.
  • Collaborate with the grounds team to uphold the retreat's five-star appearance.
  • Engage in grass cutting, strimming, edging, weeding, and clearing pathways.
  • Ensure the premises remain tidy and free from debris.

Requirements:

Prior experience in maintenance or groundskeeping is advantageous. A positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills are highly valued. A valid driving license and the ability to operate site vehicles are essential for this position.
