This position is within the EMEA Mergers & Acquisitions team. The Investment Banking Senior Associate is an intermediate level position responsible for assisting in providing strategic advisory services for mergers, acquisitions and other types of financial transactions in coordination with the Institutional Banking team.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist in the execution of Citi's Investment Banking business activities
  2. Leverage past investment banking or related experience to enhance M&A execution and capital raising capabilities
  3. Contribute to building Citi's franchise
  4. Manage and mentor analysts by providing detailed guidance and feedback, managing information flow, and providing credit and exposure information to analysts, as appropriate
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree in Finance or closely related areas of Business Administration; Master's degree in Business Administration preferred
  2. Experience in evaluating corporate transactions and structures
  3. Experience creating financial analyses
  4. Demonstrated problem solving and organizational skills
  5. Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  6. Experience assisting with client development
  7. Ability to work with teams and track business development (collect research, analyze industry trends)
  8. Series 79 and 63 licenses
Education
  1. Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
