The Role

As a Midweight Interior Designer, you will be directly involved in bringing brands to life through their office spaces across London. You'll collaborate with clients, understanding their needs and translating them into inspiring design solutions. Your responsibilities will encompass the entire design process, from initial concept development to project delivery.

Your Responsibilities

  • Produce conceptual images, sketch visuals, mood boards, and rendered floor plans for a range of projects, assisting both new and existing clients.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to produce construction packs and finishes schedules for project delivery.
  • Assist with sourcing finishes, furniture, and accessories for projects, ensuring they align with the client's vision and budget.
  • Work closely with the projects team to ensure smooth project delivery within budget and timeframe, maintaining design intent and quality throughout the process.
  • Assist with the installation of FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) and dressing on completion, ensuring a seamless handover to the client.
  • Manage the design process effectively, demonstrating organization and proactiveness to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.

What We Look For

  • Practical experience in Hospitality, Residential, Commercial, and/or Retail Interior Design.
  • The ability to work confidently and independently, making design decisions to create spaces that meet the unique needs of each Kitt client.
  • Excellent communication skills, allowing you to effectively interact with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that all design elements are executed with precision and care.
  • A proactive approach, taking initiative to enhance team processes and contribute to the overall success of the design department.
  • Strong organizational skills, enabling you to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • A willingness to learn and grow, actively seeking feedback and embracing opportunities for professional development.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications.
