About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Support Engineer to join our dynamic R&D team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing and testing cutting-edge environmental monitoring devices that help identify and avoid pollution events worldwide.

Your Responsibilities

  • Conduct performance, thermal, and EMC tests on prototypes and finished products.
  • Assemble and modify printed circuit boards (PCBs) utilizing both surface-mount technology (SMT) and through-hole components.
  • Diagnose and repair faulty PCBs, including component-level soldering on SMT PCBs.
  • Provide technical support to the electronic engineering team, undertaking a variety of tasks under engineer supervision.
  • Design and develop test solutions with our manufacturing partners to ensure the quality assurance our clients expect.
  • Assist in the introduction of new designs into production.

Your Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience working within the electronics industry.
  • Ability to comprehend electronic circuit schematics and the fundamental function of standard components.
  • Hands-on experience in building, modifying, and testing PCBs.
  • Excellent technical writing and reporting skills.
  • A recognized technological qualification in electrical or electronics engineering is preferred.
