Job Title: Deputy Business Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Business Advisor to join our team at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our finance team, you will provide financial planning and reporting support to our Business Advisor, ensuring the delivery of high-quality financial services to our Division.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide financial planning and reporting support to the Business Advisor, including financial forecasting and risk assessment.
  • Manage a small team of staff, ensuring regular appraisal and development opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain financial and information systems within the Division and wider Trust.
  • Contribute to the development of service line reporting and provide business management support to enhance decision-making within the Division.
  • Deputise for the Business Advisor in their absence.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 O Levels, GCSEs or equivalent (including Maths and English).
  • CCAB qualifications or CIMA.
  • Committed to Continuing Professional Development.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a small team of staff.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to plan and prioritise workload and that of others effectively.
