Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transport Operations Support Administrator to join our team at Culina Logistics.

This role is responsible for providing administrative support to our Transport team, ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Debriefing Drivers: Conduct daily debriefings with drivers to ensure accurate information is captured and recorded.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the Transport team, including checking timesheets, PODs, and other documentation.
  • Document Management: Scan and store PODs using our document management system.
  • Dispatch Support: Prepare drivers' wallets, issue delivery notes, and print despatch notes as required.
  • Customer Service: Answer telephone inquiries and provide assistance to customers.
  • Tachograph Management: Download drivers' cards and tachographs.
  • ETA Management: Ensure accurate estimated time of arrivals (ETAs) are communicated to our Customer Service team.
  • Spreadsheet Management: Update spreadsheets, including change-overs, run summaries, and trailer check sheets.
  • Transport Management: Depart loads using our Transport Management System (TMS).
  • Load Management: Ensure all uplifts are dispatched in the correct loads.

Requirements:

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to deliver accurate information to drivers and other stakeholders.
  • Efficient Work Habits: Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
  • Prioritization: Effective prioritization of workload to meet set deadlines.
  • Computer Literacy: Good standard of computer literacy, particularly MS Office.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work as part of a team or individually.
