Job Title: KS2 Class Teacher

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a qualified and experienced KS2 Class Teacher to join our team at Protocol Education. As a KS2 Class Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and effective lessons to Key Stage 2 students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • **Lesson Planning and Delivery:**
  • Plan and prepare lessons that cater to the diverse needs of Key Stage 2 students.
  • Deliver lessons that are engaging, interactive, and meet the curriculum requirements.
  • **Assessment and Evaluation:**
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress through various assessment methods.
  • Use assessment data to inform lesson planning and make adjustments as needed.
  • **Classroom Management:**
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and motivation.
  • Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe and respectful learning environment.
  • **Communication and Collaboration:**
  • Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues to ensure a collaborative approach to student learning.
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities to stay up-to-date with best practices in education.

Requirements:

  • **Qualifications:**
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 2 students
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • **Education and Experience:**
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a primary school setting
  • **Knowledge and Skills:**
  • Strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience working with students with diverse learning needs

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a school setting with regular term-time hours
  • Interact with students, parents, and colleagues on a daily basis
  • Attend occasional evening events or meetings
