Job Summary: We are seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team in the Gloucester area. As a HLTA, you will be responsible for supporting teachers in the classroom, working with students of all ages and abilities, and contributing to the development of our schools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teachers in the classroom, providing individualized attention to students as needed
  • Develop and implement lesson plans, adapting to the needs of students with varying learning styles and abilities
  • Assist with student assessments, tracking progress, and reporting to teachers and parents
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and students to ensure a smooth and supportive learning environment
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and other school events

Requirements:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Primary school curriculum
  • Adaptable to work with different age groups
  • Patience and compassion
  • Experience working with children
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to liaise with teachers and parents
