Nursery Assistant
Salary: Up to £24,000
Full-Time Hours
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursery Assistant to support the care and development of young children in our nursery. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, creating a safe and inclusive environment, and supporting their educational and emotional needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily care of children, including feeding, changing diapers, and supporting nap time routines
- Plan and implement engaging activities that promote child development and encourage creativity and learning
- Foster a safe and inclusive environment where all children feel valued, respected, and supported
- Collaborate with the nursery team to maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating environment for children
- Communicate effectively with parents and provide updates on their child's progress and well-being
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of all children in your care
Requirements
- A passion for working with young children and supporting their development
- Previous experience in a childcare setting is preferred or a similar role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
