Join Our Team as a Career Adviser/Trainee Career Adviser

We are seeking highly motivated and dedicated individuals to join our team as Career Advisers/Trainee Career Advisers. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting young people and adults in achieving their career goals.

About the Role

As a Career Adviser/Trainee Career Adviser, you will work with a diverse range of customers, including young people in education and adults in the labour market. You will provide guidance and support to help them make informed decisions about their career paths and provide them with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the workplace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one support and guidance to customers to help them achieve their career goals
  • Deliver interactive group sessions and presentations to engage customers and promote career development
  • Work with a range of partner organizations to provide a comprehensive service to customers
  • Use a range of tools and skills to support the work, including digital technologies
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of the career development process and be able to communicate effectively with customers. You will also need to be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be able to travel within Wales and occasionally the UK.

We are particularly interested in hearing from individuals who have a background in education or training, health and social care, or disability support.
