We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant in Anaesthetics and Intensive Care to join our dynamic and forward-thinking department. The successful candidate will have a strong background in intensive care medicine and anaesthetics, with a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Main DutiesThe Consultant will be responsible for participating in an intensive care rota, providing anaesthetic services for a wide range of surgical interventions, and contributing to the development of the department's research agenda. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multi-professional environment.
Requirements- Basic medical degree
- FRCA or equivalent specialist qualification
- Full GMC Registration with a licence to practice
- CCT in Anaesthesia & Intensive Care Medicine or equivalent
- Entry onto the GMC Specialist Register or eligibility for entry within 6 months
- FFICM or equivalent
- Broad experience in all aspects of Intensive Care Medicine, Anaesthesia, and Acute Pain
- Evidence of Advanced ICU training recognised by FICM or equivalent
