This position is for a Precision Welding Specialist, where the successful candidate will engage in high-accuracy welding tasks on components and control systems utilized in the subsea sector. The role involves the use of advanced orbital welding technology to ensure compliance with stringent industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and prepare welding apparatus, including orbital welding machines, power supplies, and gas systems.
  • Ensure all required materials, such as pipes or tubes, are clean, correctly aligned, and ready for the welding process.
  • Program and calibrate orbital welding machines according to specific project needs.
  • Modify welding parameters, including current, voltage, and rotation speed, to achieve optimal weld quality.
  • Operate orbital welding machinery to execute precise welds on various materials, including stainless steel and specialized alloys.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Relevant certifications in orbital welding or associated welding techniques may be necessary.
  • Experience in a similar role, with a strong focus on the use of AMI welding equipment and both autogenous and wire feed welding methods.
