Position Overview:
As a Warehouse Operations Associate, you will play a vital role in overseeing inventory management within our warehouse. Your focus will be on ensuring full compliance with quality control standards to achieve zero defects in our products.
Your responsibilities will include accurately booking goods into our ERP system, maintaining precise stock levels, and ensuring that items are stored correctly to minimize defects. You will also be responsible for picking items for production and dispatching them according to operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify and record all incoming goods against delivery documentation, placing them in designated storage locations.
- Prepare items for storage to meet quality standards.
- Input received items into the inventory management system against purchase orders.
- Process returns from customers in accordance with established service level agreements.
- Immediately report any short deliveries to the purchasing department.
- Document any quality issues through the quality control system.
- Conduct regular stock takes as per the planned schedule.
- Update stock figures in the system daily.
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in stock levels.
- Escalate any significant discrepancies to management.
- Continuously review processes to enhance stock control measures.
- Perform additional warehouse duties as required.
Qualifications:
Experience in warehouse and stock management is essential.
A forklift license is advantageous but not mandatory.
Proficiency in MS Office is required.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems is beneficial.
