Nexgen Group is seeking a skilled Cleaning Operative to join our team on a temporary basis. As a Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our Social Housing sites in the Bexley area.
This is a part-time position, requiring 20 hours of work per week. A full UK Driving Licence is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dust, damp wipe or wash walls, skirting boards, handrails, ledges, window sills, radiators, lifts, doors, and frames to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
- Sweep floors using brushes or dust control mops to prevent dirt and dust accumulation.
- Mop floors using wet or damp mops to ensure a clean and hygienic environment.
- Hover carpeted areas to maintain a clean and tidy appearance.
- Empty waste bins and transport waste material to designated collection points.
- Mix cleaning supplies in the correct quantities for safe use.
- Replenish consumable items such as soap, toilet rolls, and paper towels as required.
- Clean toilets, urinals, hand basins, and sinks to maintain a high standard of hygiene.
- Clean communal kitchen areas to ensure a clean and safe environment for residents.
Requirements:
