Cleaning Operative Position

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning Operative to join our team at Nexgen Group.
About the Role:
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 16:30pm - 18:30pm
- Weekly hours: 10 hours
- Hourly rate: £11.54
Key Responsibilities:
- Dust, damp wipe or wash walls, skirting boards, hand rails, ledges, window sills, radiators, lifts, doors and frames
- Sweeping floors with brushes or dust control mops
- Mopping floors with wet or damp mops
- Hovering of carpeted areas
- Emptying waste bins or similar receptacles, transporting waste material to designated collection points
- Mix cleaning supplies in the correct quantities for safe use
- Replenish consumable items e.g. soap, toilet rolls, paper towels (if contractual)
- Clean kitchens, toilets, urinals, hand basins and sinks
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a cleaning environment is essential
- IT literate (use of tablet, smart phone apps)
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written (English)
