Key Responsibilities:
The primary role of the Fire Safety Technician involves delivering a thorough, professional installation, maintenance, and servicing of diverse Fire Alarm Systems across various commercial and public sector locations. The successful candidate will be tasked with:
- Visiting client sites as per scheduled appointments
- Executing installation, maintenance, commissioning, and training on Fire Alarm systems in compliance with relevant standards and codes of practice
- Completing all necessary job documentation, including BS Certificates and engineer reports
- Engaging with clients to understand their specific requirements for system modifications or enhancements
- Coordinating with alarm receiving centers
- Utilizing company compliance management tools effectively
- Participating in training sessions and toolbox talks
- Maintaining a professional appearance by wearing company-branded PPE and uniform
- Ensuring that all vehicles and equipment are kept in excellent condition
- Demonstrating a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Possessing a strong working knowledge of various fire alarm systems
- Exhibiting good communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- Being willing to work outside of standard hours when necessary
- Holding a valid driving license
- Capably identifying, troubleshooting, and repairing all types of fire alarm systems
- Maintaining composure and problem-solving abilities under pressure
- Working effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Upholding high standards of workmanship and professionalism
- Demonstrating knowledge of relevant standards and regulations
