Madisons Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Interior Partition Specialist for a temporary contract role. This position involves the construction and installation of partitions in various environments.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assessing and measuring spaces designated for partitioning.
2. Interpreting architectural plans and drawings.
3. Collaborating with architects and site supervisors.
4. Estimating and procuring necessary materials for projects.
5. Constructing partitions using wood, metal, or glass with hand and power tools.
6. Determining the placement of doors, light switches, and electrical outlets, including cutting necessary openings.
7. Installing movable partitions that can be relocated as needed.
8. Evaluating environmental conditions to ensure the suitability of partitions.
9. Complying with soundproofing and fire safety regulations.
10. Ensuring the work area is left clean and organized upon completion.
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 in Interior Systems.
- Valid CSCS Card is mandatory.
- Must possess personal tools and transportation.
- Comfortable working at elevated heights.
- Ability to interpret plans and follow both written and verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and good numerical skills.
- Experience with office fit-outs is preferred.
