We are in search of a skilled professional to manage corporate tax compliance and advisory functions for the EMEA region within the Wells Fargo group. Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee monthly US GAAP accounting for income tax figures related to EMEA entities;
  • Prepare and review income tax returns and financial statement disclosures for EMEA;
  • Draft and evaluate tax technical and accounting memoranda;
  • Enhance efficiency in corporate tax compliance;
  • Advise business lines on income tax-related issues;
  • Stay updated on new corporate tax developments affecting EMEA entities;
  • Manage corporate tax risks and audits for EMEA;
  • Conduct corporate tax due diligence for new initiatives and business proposals;
  • Maintain corporate tax relationships with EMEA tax authorities.
Required Qualifications:
  • CTA and/or ACA qualifications or equivalent;
  • Experience in financial services or banking is preferred;
  • Hands-on experience in compliance;
  • Background in international corporate tax compliance and related matters;
  • Experience in accounting or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military service, or education.

  • Prior experience in international corporate tax compliance;
  • Ability to provide sound advice to stakeholders on tax matters;
  • In-depth knowledge of tax accounting;
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Capability to work independently;
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills;
  • Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization abilities;
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines.
