As a Technical Consultant, your role will involve providing expert technical guidance and oversight to ensure the successful implementation of our solutions into operational service across our diverse range of products and clients. Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute build, commissioning, and upgrade tasks for NEC Software Solutions' product offerings, including DSX (ICCS), Vision, and ControlWorks (CAD).
  • Address technical issues related to the NEC Software Solutions product suite at both hardware and software levels.
  • Develop, review, and refine engineering documentation, such as work plans, instructions, and technical guides when necessary.
  • Present technical solutions to both internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure technical assurance across multiple projects through structured review meetings and engagement with stakeholders, including technical sales, support, and engineering teams.
  • Occasionally assess new product hardware and software in line with the product development roadmap.
  • Engage with customers on both technical and non-technical matters, requiring a professional and adaptable communication style.
  • Work autonomously while maintaining high standards of personal time and task management.
  • Complete all assigned tasks within established deadlines and communicate any challenges in meeting delivery milestones.
  • Exhibit a professional demeanor and approach in all work-related activities.

Qualifications:

Who You Are:

  • Preferably educated to HND/HNC level or possess relevant industry experience with several years in a similar role.
  • Experience in IT-focused server and client environments.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting and problem resolution.
  • Proficient in managing Microsoft Windows client and server systems (Windows 10 to Server 2019 and beyond), primarily with DELL/HP hardware.
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Active Directory and domain architecture.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation abilities.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Familiarity with design and documentation tools, such as MS Visio, and proficiency in MS Office applications including Excel and Word.
  • Exceptional written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in deploying Microsoft Windows and server operating systems.
  • Working knowledge of MySQL/MSSQL, including backup and query execution.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (Hyper-V or VMware).
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Experience adhering to ITIL best practices.
