About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Program Director to join our team at Ellie Mental Health - 119. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our programs and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Management
    • Develop and implement effective program management controls to monitor and analyze performance and impact.
    • Identify emerging needs and monitor finance expenditure, agreed KPIs, and project milestones.
    • Ensure quality assurance, data protection, and compliance across all areas of our activity.
  • Project Management
    • Take a lead on project managing identified DMHA Projects as required.
    • Support all areas of DMHA program management functionality as required, including deputising for the Programme Manager in identified forums.
  • Performance and Quality
    • Develop and present performance reports for all identified projects.
    • Support the Alliance Management Team by drafting approved quality guidance for expectations of delivery.
  • Relationship Management
    • Serve as a DMHA representative at identified strategic and operational levels.
    • Effectively communicate successes, challenges, and developments.
Requirements
  • Educated to at least graduate level.
  • Educated to Post Graduate and or master's degree level.
  • Professional qualification in Health, Social Care, Education or Justice sectors.
  • Project Management qualification in Prince 2, MSP, Agile or APM.
Experience
  • Significant experience of undertaking a similar role within a system-based environment in the health, social care, education or justice sectors.
  • Experience of working with VCSE organisations at a senior level.
  • Demonstrable high level project management roles in a similar environment.
Skills
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to develop and interpret complex data and performance reports.
  • High level report writing skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex and sensitive information clearly across clinical, management, and front-line staff teams.
Knowledge
  • In-depth understanding of quality systems and effective practice in health and social care or similar environments.
  • Understanding of current policy across Mental health and the Community Mental Health Framework.
  • Understanding of the current NHS provider collaborative partners (Devon Partnership Trust and LiveWell South-West).
  • Understanding of the VCSE core partner agencies in the DMHA and more widely of key VCSE organisation across Devon, Torbay, and Plymouth.
