We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as the Head of Legal and Casework. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our legal and casework functions, ensuring that our members' rights are protected and promoted.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employment law and a proven track record of managing complex casework. They will be able to provide strategic guidance and support to our members, as well as develop and implement effective solutions to resolve disputes.

The Head of Legal and Casework will be a key member of our senior leadership team, working closely with our General Secretary and other senior colleagues to drive our union's objectives and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of our legal and casework strategy
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to members on employment law and casework
  • Manage and resolve complex casework, including employment tribunal claims and disputes
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including employers, government agencies, and other unions
  • Contribute to the development of our union's policies and procedures
