**Job Title:** FPMS Coding and Development Lead

**Job Type:** Full-time

**Location:** Hybrid - 2 to 3 days per week in either Newport, South Wales, Titchfield, Hampshire, Edinburgh or Darlington offices

**Job Description:**

We are seeking a highly skilled FPMS Coding and Development Lead to join our team on an initial 6 month basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development of our FPMS system, working closely with our data architects, data engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of our FPMS system, ensuring it meets the needs of our users and stakeholders.
  • Work with our data architects to design and implement data models that support our business needs.
  • Collaborate with our data engineers to develop scalable data products that meet user needs.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, adhering to our coding standards and best practices.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior data scientists and other team members.
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs and provide data science solutions that meet those needs.
  • Continuously develop your data science knowledge and skills, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Strong technical skills in data science, including programming languages, data modeling, and data engineering.
  • Experience leading development teams and projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
