Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Intervention and FireWise Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our service, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality intervention sessions to children and young people who are at risk of harm. Your expertise will help us to prevent fires and promote fire safety, while also supporting the development of resilience and protective factors in our young people.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver intervention sessions to children and young people who are at risk of harm, using a holistic approach to support their development and well-being.
  • Work closely with families and other professionals to develop and implement effective intervention plans.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to prevent fires and promote fire safety.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure a comprehensive approach to supporting children and young people.
  • Provide training and support to colleagues on fire safety and intervention best practices.
Requirements:
  • Experience of working with children and young people who are at risk of harm.
  • Strong understanding of fire safety and intervention principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
