This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee a diverse portfolio of prestigious commercial properties, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional client satisfaction.
About the Role- Leadership & Management: You will lead and mentor a team of six skilled engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. Your responsibilities include performance management, appraisals, recruitment, and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Contract Oversight: As the primary point of contact for clients on assigned contracts, you will manage client relationships, attend meetings, and address any concerns promptly and professionally.
- Technical Expertise: While primarily a management role, you will be expected to contribute hands-on technical support during reactive maintenance situations and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities.
- Compliance & Safety: You will play a crucial role in maintaining statutory compliance across all sites, ensuring adherence to industry regulations, health and safety standards, and best practices.
- Project Management: You will be responsible for identifying, quoting, and overseeing small-scale works projects within the contracts, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.
To excel in this role, you will possess:
- A relevant engineering qualification (HNC, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services Engineering.
- Industry-recognized certifications such as 2391 (Inspection and Testing).
- Proven leadership experience within a maintenance environment, coupled with strong technical knowledge.
- Experience managing multiple contracts/projects simultaneously.
- A comprehensive understanding of SFG20 or equivalent maintenance schedules.
- Demonstrated proficiency in health and safety practices (IOSH Working / Managing Safely, Safe System of Work Procedure – PTW; RAMS etc.).
