Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing accurate and timely financial information to support executive decision-making. Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining the Job Costing Database and producing monthly Work in Progress valuations
- Producing regular costing reports for other departments, analyzing actual costs against budgets and standards
- Preparing salary payments for temporary and probationary employees
- Reviewing and reconciling balance sheet and control accounts
- Submitting quarterly VAT returns
- Ensuring accurate and timely financial and management reporting, including monthly management accounts and balance sheet control
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- CIMA or ACCA qualification, or equivalent experience
- Prior experience in monthly management accounting, including budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
