We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our team in Coventry, Derby, and Northampton. As a key member of our Lighting & Grid business, you will be responsible for managing projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of Project Managers and Site Managers/Supervisors to deliver projects efficiently and effectively.
- Ensure compliance with CDM and NEC form contracts, and maintain a strong focus on safety and risk management.
- Develop and implement project plans, resource allocation, and budgeting to meet business objectives.
- Collaborate with the commercial team to ensure robust project cost controls and manage profit and loss to agreed margins.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with supply chain representatives to execute projects efficiently.
- Conduct site inspections and agree benchmarks on quality.
- Significant experience in Electrical Project Management, with a strong background in HV/EHV Networks.
- Electrical qualification in electrical engineering or a related discipline.
- Excellent knowledge of CDM and NEC form contracts.
- High level of experience in HV jointing.
- Self-motivated, driven to achieve results, and able to motivate staff to meet tight deadlines.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, and Project.
- Good written, verbal, and presentation skills.
