Electrical Project Manager Career Advancement

As a seasoned Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of Project Managers and Site Managers/Supervisors in delivering HV/EHV connections projects. Your expertise will ensure cost-effective, technically compliant schemes are constructed safely from conception through to construction and commissioning.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing the Projects Portfolio to meet key program milestones and employer deliverables
  • Ensuring the Project delivery team and individual projects are suitably resourced in line with workload and budget
  • Approving the scope of works, plan, and target cost for each project element
  • Providing clear leadership to the Project Teams and controlling activities against budget
  • Ensuring safe management and systems of work are deployed by all personnel involved on the project
  • Working alongside the commercial team to ensure robust project cost controls
  • Establishing working relationships with supply chain representatives to execute projects efficiently
  • Carrying out site inspections and agreeing benchmarks on quality

Requirements:
  • Significant and demonstrable Electrical Experience within ICP delivery of HV/EHV Networks
  • Electrical Qualification in electrical engineering or related discipline
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, and Project
  • Electrical competence
