HSDC is seeking a skilled Examination Support Specialist to join our team. As an Examination Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of examinations at our institution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and list examination entries using our computerized system, ensuring accuracy and meeting external deadlines.
  • Liaise with candidates, parents, and college staff regarding examination matters and arrangements, including holding difficult conversations and explaining awarding body legislation.
  • Support invigilators with setting up examination rooms, including evening exams, ensuring all examination requirements are in place.
  • Set up examination rooms for online examinations, printing and uploading results, and dispatching them to students and course managers.
  • Support examinations by receiving and checking exam papers, parceling up scripts, checking attendance registers, and arranging collections in accordance with regulations.
  • Notify candidates and guide them to information regarding entries and results, preparing and dispatching certificates throughout the year.
Requirements
  • English and Mathematics to at least level 2.
  • At least 2 years of administrative experience.
  • Customer service qualification or relevant experience.
  • Experience of working with databases and/or data entry systems.
  • Previous experience of working within an educational environment and understanding FE Curriculum.
  • Experience of using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
