Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled FPGA Design Lead to join our Solution Engineering Hardware Platforms team at ARM. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of FPGA-based hardware platforms, working closely with software and board design engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in FPGA design, with expertise in RTL design, simulation, synthesis, and place & route. They will also have excellent communication skills, with the ability to write clear and concise technical documentation.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and development of FPGA-based hardware platforms.
  • Collaborate with software and board design engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Develop and maintain accurate project plans, ensuring timely delivery of projects.
  • Identify and manage risks, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Develop and implement efficient design and delivery flows, using scripting skills in Python and TCL.
Requirements:

We are looking for a highly skilled FPGA design professional with a strong background in RTL design, simulation, synthesis, and place & route. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Detailed knowledge of the FPGA design flow.
  • Strong RTL skills in Verilog / System Verilog or VHDL.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to write clear and concise technical documentation.
  • Experience with scripting skills in Python and TCL.
