About Our Client
Our client is a well-established financial services company with a significant presence in the industry and are known for their commitment to delivering exceptional service to their clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Posting and reconciling financial transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
- Providing financial assistance and support to the finance team, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Participating in the execution of financial audits, including reviewing and analyzing financial data and identifying areas for improvement.
- Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes, including forecasting revenue and expenses.
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards, including SOX and GAAP.
- Processing invoices, managing payroll, and maintaining financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Assisting with the resolution of financial disputes and queries, including communicating with clients and stakeholders.
- Collaborating with the team to optimize financial procedures and systems, including implementing new technologies and processes.
Requirements
- A strong educational background in finance, accounting, or a related field, including a degree in finance or accounting.
- Proven experience in a financial role, including experience with financial software and systems.
- Proficiency in financial software, including Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills, including the ability to analyze financial data and identify trends.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities, including the ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
Compensation
- £23-25,000 per annum.
