About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality Speech and Language Therapy services to school-aged children with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and develop treatment plans for children with communication disorders
  • Work collaboratively with parents, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions to improve communication skills and quality of life
  • Contribute to the development of clinical projects and best practices within the team
  • Support the supervision of newly qualified therapists and unregistered staff
Requirements
  • Recognized Speech and Language Therapy degree qualification or equivalent
  • Health Professions Council license to practice
  • Recent experience working with school-aged children with complex needs
  • Ability to work county-wide and hold a valid driving license
